I take a personal, hands-on approach to each project, working closely with families to understand what they want to preserve and how they would like their story represented. I handle the creative direction and editing myself, bringing in a small group of trusted team members when a project requires additional support while keeping the process intimate and consistent.

Our primary offering, the Family Archive Film, brings together existing family videos, photographs, and meaningful media into a thoughtfully edited remembrance film. We also offer discreet event coverage for memorials, celebrations of life, and family gatherings, documenting the people, stories, and moments of the day as naturally as possible.

We’re also open to developing other video production ideas a family may have, whether that means recording personal stories, creating interviews, documenting meaningful places, or building something entirely unique around the person being remembered. The goal is always to create an honest record that can be shared, revisited, and preserved over time.

FILMESCENT Studio was founded by Elias Vazquez in 2021 after spending years working independently in video production. It began with one simple goal: to tell stories through the moving image that live in the space between cinema and the everyday. Elias has stayed true to this vision while expanding into documentary, events, weddings, commercial and narrative productions.

FILMESCENT Studio is a good fit for families looking for something natural, personal, and documentary-driven rather than a traditional memorial video. My approach focuses on real moments, voices, and details, and I work best with families who are comfortable bringing me alongside them so I can quietly observe and document their experience in an honest way.

As a father of three girls and someone with a long background in hospitality, I’m used to working closely with people, reading the room, and knowing when to step in and when to give space. That experience has shaped the way I work and helps me approach sensitive, personal moments with patience, care, and respect.
