Located along the Chicago River in our 35,000-square-foot luxury private club, BIÂN offers a collection of beautifully appointed indoor spaces as well as a covered outdoor Riverwalk patio, allowing you to choose the setting that feels most fitting. Whether you envision a quiet luncheon, an evening reception with passed hors d'oeuvres, a seated dinner, or a more personalized celebration of life, each gathering is thoughtfully tailored to reflect the individual being honored. Our spaces are fully equipped to accommodate photo and video tributes, heartfelt remarks with professional microphones and speakers, and even live musical performances for families who wish to create a more personal remembrance.

Where do I park?
Enjoy free 90-minute validated parking and 4-hour discounted parking at the covered garage located across the street at 811 N Larrabee St. Valet parking is also available at BIÂN.
What is the capacity for a memorial or celebration of life at BIÂN?
BIÂN offers several indoor and outdoor spaces for gatherings of different sizes, from small groups to larger celebrations of up to 120 guests. Depending on the space, we can accommodate seated meals, family-style gatherings, or cocktail-style receptions.
How much does it cost to host an event at BIÂN?
Pricing varies based on the space, guest count, menu, and details of your gathering. Event packages currently start at $1,250 for BIÂN members and $2,500 for non-members, with larger spaces and more customized experiences priced accordingly. Your Event Coordinator can help recommend the best space and approach based on your needs and budget.
Is BIÂN a full-service event venue?
Yes. BIÂN is a full-service venue with an experienced events, culinary, and hospitality team. You'll work with a dedicated Event Coordinator who will guide you through the planning process and coordinate details including the space, menu, beverage service, setup, timing, audiovisual needs, and overall flow of the gathering.
Can we bring in outside food or beverages?
Outside food and beverage is generally not permitted. In select circumstances, we may accommodate special requests, such as a celebration cake, and can also coordinate arrangements through one of our preferred vendor partners. For special requests or exceptions, your Event Coordinator can walk you through the available options and considerations.
Can BIÂN accommodate photos, videos, music, or speakers?
Yes. Select spaces offer integrated A/V capabilities for sharing photos and videos, playing music, and accommodating remarks with speakers and microphones. Depending on the space and your plans, we can also accommodate live musical performances and other personalized tributes.
Do you offer both indoor and outdoor spaces?
Yes. BIÂN offers several beautifully designed indoor spaces as well as our covered Riverwalk Lounge along the Chicago River. Gatherings can range from an intimate indoor meal to a brunch, luncheon, seated reception, or sunset cocktail reception along the river.
Do you need to be a BIÂN member to host an event?
No. Private events at BIÂN are open to both members and non-members.
